  • A license for sex. You just know the Republicans are about a half inch from pushing that consenting (heterosexual) adults be required to have a license before having sex. That's their next big social issue.

  • Exactly. That's why its a mistake to look at what the defendant did and say, well, he had lots of illegal drugs, so reasonable search and seizure doesn't apply to him. That's not how the law is supposed to work. Search and seizure procedures have to apply to everyone equally.

  • I have to side with the defendant on this one. Specifically sniffing out a house and using that as sole reason for a search warrant opens up a can of worms for police to search whole neighborhoods and violate the privacy of millions of citizens.
